I can say enough great things about the service from this company. Spoke to Cindy about an issue I was having with my... AC, and was given nothing but politeness and professionalism. They sent a technician out right away and had my issues fixed in no time. Will definitely recommend.read more

I had called another company that was prepaid for maintenance and they tried to push me to pay over 3700 dollars with... scare tactics to clean up a problem they said I had. I called my daughter and she had two others that recommend calling your company. Caloosa Cooling, that they had used and trusted. They came out cleaned out and checked my A/C for 95 dollars and said their was nothing else that needed doing. I advised seniors to call your company and not trust others that they don't know. It is great to know that a company like yours (honest and reliable) is around to help people, especially seniors and others.read more

My initial review of this company did not go unnoticed. While it took a little while for my review to get noticed, I... did receive a reply to it followed by a phone call from one of the new owners. During our conversation, he agreed with my observations and disappointment with the customer service provided and said he would would have done the same if he were in my place.The owner kept me updated on his efforts to correct the customer service mistake by owning and correcting the customer service flaw exhibited by the front desk person that took my call and the manager that handled my complaint.I understand that we all are human and can make mistakes. The company was quick at resolving the issue, but, unfortunately, the attitude of two employees prompted me to write the initial low-rate review. Now that everything has been taken care of and the owners of the company took action to prevent issues like the one I experienced, it would not be fair for me to keep the initial review, therefore, I have corrected it to reflect my new experience.read more

They put in a new air conditioner in my house 3 years ago. One year later it stoped working and they came out and... charged me 125 to figure out the problem then said that they didn't have the parts to fix it and that they had to order the part then charged me 250 to put it in, on a unit that had a 10 year warenty Eight months later The unit broke down again and the exact same thing happened again. Then the piece of junk they put in my house broke down again and they tried to run the same game on me again and charge me to look at it and guess what they said the same thing again.read more

Have called Caloosa 4 times now for an urgent request to fix my a/c. Every time they tell me they will “forward it to... their dispatcher “ and someone will call me and come out. It is now 85 degrees in my house, still haven’t received a phone call. Do not believe their website when it says 24 hour service. Absolutely unbelievable Ive been waiting 6+ hours just for someone to tell me they are coming to fix the problem. My A/C unit is 4 months old.read more

Caloosa Cooling installed the AC system in our new home on 3/20/20 and we are already having issues with the system. ... We’ve had to call twice for someone to come out in the 3 months owning our home. Our first issue was that the duct completely broke the seal connecting to the air handler. All the way around the seal had popped, it was clearly visible and could feel cold air leaking. When the guys arrived we weren’t home but were able to let them in through the garage. I watched them on cameras and heard them talking about water leaK. When my wife spoke with the tech he told her there was no air leak or water leak. After she insisted there was a leak I watched the guy get the rubber cement from truck and fix the leak very sloppy with the rubber cement. He called me saying he did finally find the leak. I’m not an HVAC tech and found the broken duct seal and air leak immediately!!!!Yesterday at 5:30 PM we noticed the home was warm. AC not running at all. No breakers tripped, switches, condensing line float switch nothing was tripped. Neither outside compressor or air handler will kick on. Called for someone to give us call back. Waited 3 hours. Called again. Still no call back. We have a 18month old child and told them that too! I would not trust this company to do any HVAC WORK. The only reason I called them is because it’s under warranty !!! We’ve only lived in our new home for 3 months and really really scared that we are already having these issues with the AC.HOMEOWNERS AND BUILDERS BEWARE DO NOT ACCEPT THIS COMPANY EVEN IF ITS LOWEST BID !!read more

We had the dreaded failed Compressor. After finding out IT WAS covered under our warranty the quickly ordered the part... ( it took 2 days due to the slow down of everything because of COVID) They recieved the part and immediately came out and installed it and made sure all was good before they left. Always great to deal with and genuinely concerned about your situation.read more

Our ac unit is only 3 years old in a new build house, we have had to pay hundreds of dollars to get it fixed and... repaired(which has taken more than a month). We had to reschedule our labor appt. 3x because they will only come from 8-3pm (so god forbid we have day jobs). Their costumer service is non existent. I should not have to pay this company a dime.read more

I contacted them earlier in the day to have my AC fixed due to a leaking line. This is the SECOND problem I’ve had with... the AC they have installed. This is on my brand new home. I informed the rep that it was urgent and I was contacted by a service tech stating that they would be out around 6 in the evening. It’s now after 7 and I have yet to see anybody show up. They did this exact same thing before. It’s now 85 degrees in my house and I have to sleep through this tonight.Don’t tell someone you’re going to come out and then never show up, especially when it has to do with my air conditioning.UPDATE: it is ironic that I got a call shortly after this review. The tech is on site and completing the repair. I will update the stars accordingly.read more

Set an appointment a week out. No call, no show. Called the office to see why someone wasn't sent to my house, was told... over the phone that they would have someone reach out and speak to me. Another phone call later I am told that nobody is coming today even though I scheduled an appointment over a week ago.I was told on the phone that the person in charge of calling people back and booking appointments couldn't remember if they finished scheduling my appointment. Stay away! Brand new system went down due to leaking freon and had to be repaired. They said "well that happens". ... News flash for you Caloosa: No it doesn't! Doesn't happen to decently skilled technicians. Do a pressure test after install and leaks can be repaired then! The welds look like a 12 year old did them. I have pics and will post one. This junk system has never worked right. It's too small for the house! Then I discovered they ripped me off by putting in too small of a copper suction line when the system calls for a larger one! What did they save? $30? The technician said it was probably a mistake and should not have happened. Ray the rude guy on the phone said it's according to specs. I said send me those specs. Guess what? Never sent them because they don't exist! Rip offs! Very rude, talked over me, interrupted me. Treated me like an idiot. At one point they wanted to replace the outdoor unit with the same thing. What will that do when it needs to be bigger or at least replace the suction line to the proper size! Who is the idiot? Call anyone else but don't call these thieves!!! Stay away!!!read more

Sunday service is by far lacking. Takes 4 hours to get a phone call back just for the tech to laugh and tell me he cant... help. This is a Lennox unit installed by you in a brand new home! Cannot believe this. Will spend more money elsewhere.read more

Just wanted to say thank you Bill for a great job! Very impressed with his knowledge and professional experience. He... fixed a pretty unusual issue that no one else could figure out. Just by setting vents properly he was able to improve our cooling to several degrees. He found a creative approach and installed an extra vent for our custom needs to keep one room cooler than the rest of the house due to extra heat sources. He is definitely one of the best specialists and can think outside of the box. Looking forward to more business with you for additional office installations.read more
